Abu Dhabi and Dubai's leading public parking operators, Q Mobility and Parkin, have signed an agreement to unify their smart parking systems and services across the two emirates.

The collaboration aims to create a single digital platform that allows residents and visitors to access parking services and pay fees seamlessly, regardless of whether they are in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. This initiative is part of a broader effort to advance smart mobility in the UAE.

The agreement outlines a roadmap for joint projects that will leverage artificial intelligence, data analytics, and other digital technologies to optimize parking occupancy management, forecast demand, and enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

Additionally, the two companies will explore exchanging data and technical expertise while adhering to relevant regulations and data protection standards. They also plan to strengthen governance and maximize the use of existing parking infrastructure.

Q Mobility is the primary operator of public parking in Abu Dhabi, and Parkin holds the largest share of public parking services in Dubai.

Strategic Importance

Mohamed Husain Karmastaji, CEO of Q Mobility, described the partnership as a significant step toward smarter and more integrated mobility solutions between the two emirates. He emphasized that the collaboration will enhance convenience for users and foster closer ties between the parking ecosystems of Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Eng. Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, referred to the agreement as a strategic milestone for the UAE's parking sector. He highlighted that the partnership unites the country's two largest public parking operators and reflects the evolving view of parking as an integral component of the broader urban mobility ecosystem. The goal is to develop an intelligent, data-driven parking platform that supports this vision.
