UAE to Open Hajj 2027 Registration in September
Registration for Hajj 2027 in the UAE begins September 14, with approved pilgrims announced October 9.
The General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat (Awqaf) in the United Arab Emirates has announced that registration for the Hajj pilgrimage in 2027 will commence on September 14, 2026.
Emirati citizens interested in performing Hajj next year can submit their applications starting from this date. The selection of pilgrims will be conducted through an automated screening process based on approved criteria and requirements.
For the 2026 Hajj season, the UAE approved 6,228 Emirati pilgrims to participate. This year, over 1.7 million pilgrims from 165 countries took part in Hajj.
The screening process for the 2027 applications is expected to conclude by October 9, 2026, when the list of approved pilgrims will be announced. Following the announcement, selected individuals will be contacted to complete the necessary procedures.
The Awqaf authority emphasized its dedication to adhering to this schedule to facilitate early preparations for the upcoming Hajj season. Their goal is to ensure the provision of optimal services to pilgrims both within the UAE and at the holy sites in Makkah.
