Description:

Provide education to patients and families regarding medical conditions and their treatment options as well as preventative care strategies of nutrition, exercise and hygiene.
Administer or prescribe treatments and drugs.
Refer patients to medical specialist or other practitioner for specialized treatment.
Co-ordinate with nurses and get up to date about patient daily status.
Meet with patients to learn about their complaints and medical histories.
