Our company is in search of a Procurement professional who can support the operations and team to carry out the Purchasing activities from receipt of Purchase Requisition Form to finalization of Purchase Orders and to obtain the best total value of the company's requirement.
*Do the filing for the procurement documents and keep it organized and available upon request.
*Communicate with the suppliers to get quotations with the best available prices.
*Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase requirement from available suppliers.
*Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the most required items for the requisition of products.
*Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions.
*In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders & Delivery schedules.
*Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors.
*Assist in Vendor's Annual Performance review for vendors & Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
*Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements.
*Ability to independently resolve both technical and commercial issues with vendors.
*Undertake any other duties as assigned by the management.
A minimum of 3 to 6 years in procurement
Negotiating and influencing skills
Vendor relationship management
Proficient MS Office skills
Professional working proficiency in both verbal and written English.
