Description:
A new start-up industry laundry factory is being established in Dubai. We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead the sales function for the factory. Reporting directly to the Owner-Founder. This will be a critical appointment to acquire the business and promote the entity. While we are starting small, we are setting up with huge ambition to grow the business and with it grow the capacity which will create ample growth opportunities for the startup team.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing the operations of the laundry factory for linen, laundry, and dry-cleaning on a 24/7 basis. Preparing daily, weekly and monthly production schedules and plans in accordance with signed contracts.
Providing technical know-how and hands-on supervision to our new team through training and coaching.
Ensuring highest industry standards are being deployed including adherence to HSE&Q standards and international best practices.
Coordinating with suppliers to ensure prompt availability of all required materials and services.
Preparing daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance programs for factory equipment.
Strict adherence to all safety rules and regulation valid in the UAE.
Requirement:
5 to 10 years experience in a similar position with a well-established laundry service targeting contracts within the hospitality industry (hotels and restaurants in the UAE). With at least 3 years experience in a managerial position.
Fluency in English.
Strong presentation skills.
