Description:
1. In-charge for overseeing all Mechanical and Electrical works
2. Ensure the MEP work carried out is as per approved shop drawing and within the time frame and progress of the approved construction program.
3. Ensure that the installation, inspection and testing of all the MEP equipment, fittings and work implemented meets the specification and the consultant requirements
4. Verify the accuracy of shop drawings and their compliance to the specification, consultant’s design and existing local authority standard.
5. Review consultant’s design and specification
6. Complete responsibility to decide on day to day work that needs to be carried out by subordinates including: scheduling of activities, assigning task to groups or individuals, accuracy of work conducted, supplying resources and dealing with operational issues and problems.
7. Coordinate with other project personnel to ensure that deadlines, procedures, and other project requirements are met.
8. Liaise with local authorities for the approval of MEP services drawings and service connection.
9. Prepare shop drawing & material submittals for consultant’s approval.
10. Calculate & prepare material list for procurement in terms of quantity and has knowledge of specifying high quality material.
11. Correspondence with client / consultants / subcontractors.
12. Coordinate with different local authorities to obtain drawing approvals.
13. Should be aware of health and safety guidelines related to interior fit out project management.
14. Will have to send weekly updates and prepare minutes of the meeting.
15. Coordination with design and estimation team.
16. Assuring correct and Precise documentation of materials, inspections and closure documentation.
17. Analyze project bottleneck and taking immediate action.
18. Will have to coordinate with multiple suppliers and team members.
19. Prepare project schedule.
20. Preparing and reviewing method statements and work specific quality control plans. Ensuring materials received are in accordance with quantity and quality.
Requirement:
Skills
1) Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering.
2) UAE Driving License is a must.
3) Minimum 5-9 years UAE experience in executing commercial interior fit out work.
4) Efficient Planner.
5) Team Player.
6) Good Communication skills.
7) Should be efficient in MS word and other softwares related to project management.
8) Efficient E -mailing skills.
9) Should be able to lead a team or site members.
10) Should have a good technical knowledge of the standard materials used in the industry to execute projects.
11) Joinery knowledge will be helpful.
12) Should have an eye for detail. Shall be able to pin point if the materials are as per the drawings prepared.
