Full Stack Web Developer – Job Description

Key Skills 
Advanced understanding of PHP 5 and 7
Proficient in HTML5/CSS3, Java, XML, AJAX and JSON
Experience in developing APIs and RESTful Web-Services.
Experience in working with eCommerce platforms, preferably Magento. Knowledge in Drupal Commerce, Shopify, OpenCart, Demandware or similar is a plus.
Experience with Relational Databases e.g. MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB and search platforms like Solr.
Experience working with front end technologies: AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, React.js, jQuery, Node (NPM) and ES6.
Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications. Development experience for both mobile and desktop.
Experience working with technologies like: Zend Framework (ZF1 or ZF2), Vagrant or similar PHP MVC framework.
Knowledge of code versioning tools such as GIT / Bitbucket (versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management) and basic shell scripting.
Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions.
Server management and deployment for the relevant environment.
Experience in fetching page analytics data using Facebook and Instagram Graph API and Ads Pixel Analytics APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on experience in web application development and systems integration.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google cloud.
Experience working on large-scale eCommerce systems.
Familiarity with payment technologies such as Amazon Payments, Mastercard or other payment gateways.
Knowledge of SEO best practices.
Experience with Unix, Linux or similar *NIX development environment.
Experience with Elastic Search, Kubernetes and MongoDB is preferred.
Knowledge of web security, performance and caching.
Understanding of object-oriented software principles, unit testing, acceptance testing and design patterns.
Perform quality assurance and debugging on code, including cross browser and platform testing.
Write clean and reusable code to optimize website speed and to support future scalability.
Stay up to date on new web technologies, coding standards and best practices.
Integrates third party services and apps into our web applications.
