Description:
We are looking for a client focused and energetic Technician (colourist) English speaking to join our dynamic and creative team.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service and ensuring a smooth and seamless operation of the client’s experience while also maintaining the professional and vibrant image of Beauty & Tajmeel.?
Responsibilities:
• Attending to the needs of all clients
• Consulting clients and advising them of home hair care needs
• Managing day-to-day column in an effective and efficient manner
• Attending formal in-house training sessions as required
• Learning and perfecting new techniques
• Educate clients about the existing services that are available at Beauty & Tajmeel
• Provide recommendations for products to clients at the salon
• Stay up to date on the latest international styles / trends. Attends conferences and other relevant events to keep ahead in the field.
• Have an in-depth knowledge of the products that are used or for sale in the salon
• Always maintain personal grooming standards and the cleanliness and hygiene of the salon
• Coordinate with receptionists to drive a maximum number of appointments per day
What are we looking for?
• Certificate 3 in hairdressing or the overseas equivalent
• Minimum5-years’ experience in hairdressing
• Ability to use these brands is an advantage (Goldwell, L’Oréal & Wella)
• Profound knowledge of the colour wheel is vital
• Ability to apply hair colour using a few techniques
• Ability to understand and advise clients on best-suited hair colour/tones
• Impeccable grooming and impressive customer service skills
• Excellent prioritisation skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to multitask between different tasks at hand while working under pressure during busy periods
• You must be passionate about the hairdressing industry and keen to learn from experienced stylists and technicians
• Stay ahead of hairdressing trends and continually striving to grow
• Ability to adapt to different electronic management systems
