1. Responsibilities: 
ATTEND/ RESPOND TO ANY FIBER RELATED ISSUE ASSIGNED TO
a. Troubleshooting existing FOC cables that having issues
b. Conduct testing and Fault Finding
c. Conduct FOC splicing if needed.
d. Supervise sub-contractor for restoration of Damaged FOC.

2. FOC splicing and testing

2. ATTEND SCHEDULED AND EMERGENCY CR ACTIVITY FOR FLM FIBER
a. FOC cable relocations.
b. MIGRATIONS LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL LINKS (PHYSICAL FOC TRANSMISSION LINK)
c. NETWORK UPGRADES ( PHYSICAL LINKS INTERCONNECTIONS/ALTERATION/ ADDING NEW LINKS)

3. ATTEND AND IMPLEMENT NEW FIBER CONNECTIVITY REQUEST FOR EXISTING DEVICES
a. New and additional FOC interlinks for Existing transmission devices like OTN, IP core devices, and BDS’.
b. Fiber and Copper interlinks for existing at Data Centers, like Khazna Masdar, DU Injazat, Mussafah DC, and All CORE SITES IN ABU DHABI, AL AIN and WESTERN REGION.

4. FIBER UTILIZATION 
a. Gathering of FOC utilization, as per request for affected sites for physical FOC migration, cables cut restoration, FOC cable relocations.

5. SITE SURVEYS
a. Attend survey as per request for sub-contractors, especially for FOC cable routes affected by Third Party.

6. PATROLLING FOR FOC BACKBONE CABLE ROUTES.?
